    Program Overview
    This one-year fellowship offers comprehensive knowledge and practical training in diagnosing and managing cardiovascular conditions in neonates, infants, children, and adolescents. The curriculum blends theoretical instruction with hands-on experience in pediatric cardiology OPDs, cath labs, ICUs, and advanced imaging centers, equipping learners with skills in both congenital and acquired cardiac conditions in children.

    Module 1: Pediatric Cardiac Anatomy, Physiology, and Embryology

    • Fetal and neonatal circulation

    • Cardiac embryology and development

    • Postnatal cardiac adaptation

    • Hemodynamics and shunt physiology

    Module 2: Pediatric ECG and Diagnostic Tools

    • Pediatric ECG interpretation basics

    • Holter and event monitoring

    • Chest X-ray and cardiac silhouette in children

    • Basic and advanced echocardiography (TTE, Doppler)

    Module 3: Acyanotic Congenital Heart Diseases (CHDs)

    • ASD, VSD, PDA, AVSD

    • Coarctation of aorta, aortic stenosis

    • Clinical features and natural history

    • Medical and interventional management

    Module 4: Cyanotic Congenital Heart Diseases

    • Tetralogy of Fallot (TOF), Transposition of Great Arteries (TGA)

    • TAPVR, truncus arteriosus

    • Cyanotic spells and emergency management

    • Surgical and catheter-based interventions

    Module 5: Pediatric Echocardiography and Cardiac Imaging
